Our estimates are not quotes

Everything the calculators produce is a planning figure. It is not an offer, not a contract, and not binding on ArborCost LLC or on any tree service provider. Real pricing requires someone to look at your tree.

We publish our method in full and stand behind the reasoning, but a range built from a web form cannot account for internal decay, root condition, soil stability, local permit requirements or anything else invisible from the inputs you can give us. Do not make an irreversible decision on our number alone.

We are not a tree service company

ArborCost LLC does not perform tree work of any kind. We connect homeowners with independent tree service providers. Those providers are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not supervise, license or insure them.

Any agreement you reach is between you and that provider. Verify their liability insurance and workers compensation coverage before work begins — we cannot do that for you.

Consent to be contacted

When you request quotes you are shown, and must actively check, the following notice. It is never pre-checked, and we store the exact wording you saw alongside your request:

Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. I can opt out at any time.

This consent is not required to buy anything, and you can withdraw it at any time. To stop calls from a specific provider, tell that provider — they hold the phone. Email hello@arborcost.com and we will flag your record on our side as well.

Accuracy and availability

We work to keep our pricing data current and our sources cited, but we do not warrant that every figure is accurate at every moment, or that the site is available without interruption. Data sources and their last update dates are listed on the method page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, ArborCost LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of this site, from any estimate it produced, or from any work performed by a provider you found through us. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Acceptable use

Do not submit another person's contact details, scrape the site at volume, or use the calculators to build a competing dataset. We may block access for any of these.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
